Hey! I’m Alisha. I am a life coach, engineering project manager in energy, STEM advocate, checklist champion, host of the Tales from the Hearth Storytelling Podcast, and learning addict. I believe there’s not a problem I can’t plan my way out of. Just like the A-Team, “I love it when a plan comes together”.
I hail from a small farming community who worked together to solve problems in a practical, no-nonsense way. I chose to become an engineer through hands-on exposure from Girl Scouts and the skill to motivate others to build things we could all enjoy.
I’m hooked on chocolate peanut butter cups and ginger ale, and I enjoy waterfall hiking and making questionable fantasy football decisions.
My favorite quote is, “Don’t Give Up. Don’t Ever Give Up” – Jim Valvano (I’m an North Carolina State University graduate, so how can I not include this quote and recommend a super inspirational story of underdog triumph?)
I believe that the answer to improving your life can be discovered through…you! Sometimes you just need some guidance, thought-provoking questions, goal-setting with a plan, and an accountability partner cheering you on!
